Tonight, I am thankful for friends. New ones, old ones, short ones, ones who will drink beer with you when they’re not supposed to, ones that text you about how fantastic your hair looks today, ones that you meet for the first time and can be genuine with, ones that don’t take your bulls*** and ones that do. Friends who will laugh at you, with you, for you when you don’t feel like laughing. Friends who dare you to try new things, who push you to be a better person, who really care about you. Friends who won’t let you drive drunk, who won’t let you sleep through class, who won’t let you doubt yourself. Thanks, friends. I don’t know where I’d be without you. Dead, probably.
